Lanier Williams M.S.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.” -
Psalm 119:105

  • Lanier is a trained clinical counselor and has been licensed as a minister for over 20 years. Inspired by changes in his own life, he set out to teach scripture and help others get insight into the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding filled within the Old and New Testaments. Desiring to gain a scientific understanding of the mind along with his spiritual training, he pursued his undergraduate degree in psychology and religious studies. He further went on to complete his graduate studies in clinical health counseling and applied psychology. He completed his clinical internship and graduate hours at Bethanna Behavioral Health Services under the supervision of Dr. J. Feldblyum and Psychiatrist Dr. A. Chang. Lanier has also completed training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital through the Clinical Pastoral Chaplaincy Program as well pursuing Biblical Studies courses at Palmer Theological Seminary. Although Lanier's clinical training has been useful in the understanding and application of evidence based approaches to counseling, he ultimately believes that reasoned and measured biblical application to one’s life is invaluable. Lanier's philosophy is to freely give as he has been given and help individuals to better understand and strengthen their faith.
